Due to these efforts, its scale of production and revenue grew rapidly. In 1997, Elion Resources Group was designated by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government as a key enterprise. At the end of 1999, Elion Resources Group was listed in the 520 Key Enterprises by the State Council. In the same year, its Technical Centre was rated as a National Technical Centre.
